Question polypainting in different layers?

Hello everyone...I recently come up a question:can I polypaint a model in different diffuse layers in ZBrush? So when i export the texture out to photoshop,i can manipulate a couple of layers and do some cleanup or texture editing...this is a feature i found in bodypaint 3D...i'm thinking that if ZBrush has the function to do that,it will be a great feature!
Thanks in advance if you share any ideas...

Have you tried making a texture map of each layer when visible and exporting them as separate textures? You could then edit them in Photoshop and merge them into a single layer when done.
