bridge gap

Hi
Is there a way to bridge gaps between polygroups or within same polygroup in Zbrush other than rigging with a Zsphere and edit the topology point by point? I've tried Dynamesh, qRemesher and Close Holes, it doesnt seem to work.

Stu

hide the Flat object, tool>Geometry>delete hidden
then tool>Geometry>close holes
