RGB to CMYK mask/blending mode issue

I'm having an issue converting an image from RGB to CMYK that I've not had before. A Google search wasn't helpful on this issue but maybe I didn't come up with the right terms, so apologies if this is a common issue. I'm converting a 3D comp from RGB for printing in CMYK and something goes wrong with the masks and blending modes. I've attached the RGB, CMYK, and a screenshot of my layers below to give an idea of the issue. The specular and reflection layers are set to screen, the refraction layer is set to linear dodge, and diffuse is just normal. Something seems to be happening with the blacks when I convert, but when I start turning off blending modes everything looks right, so obviously there's something I don't understand about the conversion process. It's a fairly large image but I can certainly downsize it and post a psd if someone needs it. Any help is appreciated

The blend modes are not compatible with CMYK, you need to merge the layers before conversion.

Alright that's the conclusion I was coming to myself, I'll just flatten it down then. Thanks for the reply!
