Thanks to share the model wirginia, but we will need the pointcache file if its possible. I tryed to import the baked model and didnt work in 3dsmax 2011.

Hey pyroskat, Roberto has both versions - original with rig and point cash baked fbx files. I just tested import of baked anim to 3ds max 2013 and 2011 it works fine here.
With 3ds max 2011 make sure you check "animation" and "Point cash files" under Extra Options in FBX Import window. FBX in 3ds max 2013 works automatically. Let me know if that works for you. |

btw. animation is 24fps (from maya), so set max to 24fps before you import. It should be 250 frames long.

No way to work. Anim_bake import the model with a point cache (but the point cache file is not included) so no animation. ANim_Rig crash max. Tested in 3dsmax 2011 and 2013.

Update
I've almost finished RB part:
https://vimeo.com/80589578 Ground fractured manually (to create certain pattern) and animated with Rivet plugin in Maya. Rocks fractured and simulated with Pulldownit in 3dsMax. Still lots of work, not much time ![]() |

Sometimes regardless how much time is left - it's not going to be enough
![]() So I went on holiday, came back, got sick and now finally starting to feel better. And somehow it's mid January - how did that happen? I would like to finish this shot, but it will be most probably later, not in challenge time frame. Hats off for those who finished and I wish you good luck! |
