Characters: Transformers Genesis

This week, the long awaited artbook of Transformers Genesis by 88MPH Studios shipped to the persons who pre-ordered. It will soon be available in the book stores.

Some might recognize the Devastator piece since we can vaguely remember that we posted it exactly one year ago but had to remove it because of the re-organization of the book. The Mirage & Jazz piece is quite a special one since it was used as a limited lithograph to promote the book one year ago.

Pencils: Mark Brooks
Inks: Clayton Brown
Colors: Michel Koiter & René Koiter (aka Twincruiser)

Have to say I really dig the perspective in the first, beautiful work there bud. Transformers for me would never get old, I just love these guys Great work on the colors and lighting, especially in the first pic. Nice job no crits.

Hasbro seems to be rehasing this old heroes, I just worked on a Teenage mutant ninja turtle spot last week heh.

Thumbs down NICE!!!!!!!!

I know when I was young liking the series on TV, but the new manga influence on the new stuff but more action into the poses. Also the use of perspective gives a good sense of the size of these characters.

Great job guys

oh my fuggin goodness.

these are awsome!! and at a very transformers time. me and my mate found a toy shop last week selling original Optimus Primes, Ultra Magnuses and Rodimus Majors. in fact, since then, everything has been very 80's nostalgia based. like being reminded of the brialliance of M.A.S.K.

ANyway great workl.
