Question This pic is to steam punk as nodoubt is to ska.

Great painting and I love the feel of it. I'm just not sure how this qualifys as steam punk?
I see the blimps with the weird stuff on the belly of them I'm just not seeing the STEAM powered mechanics. Maybe it's behind the elephant.
It's kind of like the band no doubt saying they were " ska ", It's just not really part of that genera, you know. I'm not knocking the piece itself just how it is categorized. But it truly is a great painting.

Yeah, instant :+fav: for this one. I think my all time favorite from your works (from what I know at least).

Btw, do you own authorization from Raphael Lacoste to post it here?

Agreed, Great image but I fail to see how this is "steam punk."

Regarding the painting itself, I`ve always been curious how people come to such results in nearly pure 2D.

Yay! /adores. You are one of my idols - I am always pleased to see new work from you.

I have been to exotic, dusty markets like those in the Philippines, and the feel is very authentic :-)

I wish there was a "love heart" icon. You will have to imagine!
