I think that your style is great. It goes into the direction of manga, but is still unique.
The shades and higlights (especially the one of the hair) are creating a very vivid atmosphere.

Are these clouds on which your character stands? Maybe it is volitional that he seems to fly but it affects strangely on me.

Awesome work. Do you have more work to show?

LOL. You wouldn't like the effect of that technique, trust me. Imagine characters with flickering skin and clothe colours.

The head is too big for the rest of the body and the placement of the head on the shoulders looks off.
