Really nice execution. When I saw the thumbnail I said "Hey, Elvis Costello!" so, definitely recognizable. My wife glanced over and was a tad more picky. She thought the face was off. I argued and found the source image which I had to admit was much shorter in the face. The large, long jaw seems like a bit of a random license to take with his features. Personally, I would have liked to see you go the opposite way with it. Still, beautiful image.

Looking at the thumbnail on the front page, I knew who that was right away

Awesome job!

Thank you all so much for your comments, I'm flattered . . . very honored to have gotten a CG Choice award . . . thank you.

Keenerbean . . . If I had to do it all over again I'd draw him the same way . . . there are different ways to go about drawing someone, but it's also about what I as an artist want to say . . . . . . and I feel I said enough. Being picky is fine with me and I appreciate honesty, so thank you . . .

your works are always very good, but and about portraits(no caricatures) and landscapes, do you like? or did you get success with this style and is satisfied?

Yeah, I hear you. Well stated. I checked out the rest of your work and was really impressed. I'd love to see what you could do in 3D if you ever went that direction!
