Very impressing!

Everything is very harmonious and the technique is intriguing. Are you using any kindo of photo overlays for this?

No there are no photo overlays in this particular one, although it does happen that I use it sometimes. I like how the brushes create the texture, how the texture works with the brush strokes. An overlay can make things look very flat, especially when the texture has strong recognizable features and crosses edges in your painting. Not always desireable.

Yes it does look similar to Richard Schmid perhaps. Not that I'm trying to make the images look like his in particular. but I do appreciate the traditional arts, coming from a pencil and acrylic background. I tried to do something a little less "digital looking" if that's a viable expression.

Gallery quality... when are galleries going to take digital work seriously?

excuse me, but isnīt it a work on a photo or the colors were captured from a photo or matte painting? can you to describe about the work, please?
