but hey, besides that, the overhall mood anf comp is beautiful as always

really nice... but I gotta say the Train + Town foreground image just doesn't fit, perhaps its because the Train looks way oversized and perhaps thats the intention, but doesn't do it for me..

however the train and the mountain background looks great... I'd replace that town foreground with more of a environment of the Mountains and perhaps have it look like the train is speeding accross a bridge over a valley etc, like move those bridge arcs much further apart and make them wider so you can see the mountain behind through the arcs more...

Hey bin voila une front page bien meritee cool work man! I agree with pascal though, the train seems way too big compared to the houses / arches.

I got the idea behind the 'fantastic', it's incredible as everything you do.
You sure would not make a 'scale' mistake, I follow up your artwork for years now, know what you're capable of.

Congratulations for this great piece and the FP !

Cheers,

Raphael...another masterpiece. It's great you can do these personal projects in your sparetime (probably 1 min a night!). I think you really captured the christmas feeling. Everything is perfect. You also picked one hell of an angle. It shows your mastery of things. Also, your color scheme is ElRafoaesque...
Regarding the scale issue mentioned, I think the only problem are the windows of the wagons in the back, because the giant train makes perfect sense and the little houses (of those little elves living in the north pole or something) are also in context. If the wagons in the back had like 3 rows of windows or something like that, the whole giant train idea would become more apparent.

Contratulations!
