hey daRoz, cool to see you here; hope things are going well in Albesila^^

blaize: I guess you`re right, I bent reality a bit to make this work; at least I guess that`s what we artists do
the hand was a big discussion point in my thread also, I decided that the more human look fits their strange behaviour quite well

thx everyone, the stars are more than appreciated!
here are some close ups for the people interested:

Wonderful image!! A creative marriage of feral and dainty, with eye pleasing colors and tones. You did very well!

Great to see some refreshing work! Really lovely and fully of character, with stunning technique to boot. The cakes look a little weird lighting wise, but everything else fits in very well. Everything brought a smile to my face.
Love the kittens.

Plain awesome. I have to admit I didn't follow the challenge and therefor haven't seen this before.

What I absolutely love about this painting (besides the obvious technique and lighting situation) is the fact that it contains both monster design/concept art which are more often found in male artists work but on the other hand also subtle details which are mostly seen in female artists work (like the treatment of the flowers and the details on the teaset but many more things).

The little tidbits here and there - like the cat playing with the petals - the slightly turn table cloth, just simply beautiful

whohoo, your great comments are helping me trough this damn work I have to do right now; schematic paintings of whirlpools oO
feels like this is my natural enemy in the world of art so thx everybody for pushing me trough the schematic horror^^

Kyena: that`s one of the biggest compliments I ever got; fact is since I`m lurking around here in the forum I got much inspiration from great female artists like Linda Bergkvist, Benita Winckler, Kei Acedera, Marta Dahlig and you of course ( "can`t stand the light", one of my favorite works I`ve seen here)
guess as long as I`m not jumping around in my girlfriends cloths there`s a lot I can learn from you girls ;p
