Beautiful... but chilling.

I agree, I would also like to know more about this piece. I imagine she purposefully stood in the middle of busy morning traffic. Everyone is grumbling going to work in the rain and... they were never the same.

I love it, especially the choice of colors.

WOW man, it's an incredible artwork !
Can you tell the story behind it ? Have to install my nihongo fonts here, but you can type in nihon go and I can help to get it translated if you want. It's amazing !
That's the kind of artwork we should have more than 5 stars !

It's an amazingly cool looking picture, but I have no clue what you are trying to impart with that title. Could you explain? Prevent what? A tomahawk missle from hitting her in the face?

One hell of a powerful picture and really nicely done .. What's the background, where did this picture come from? I'm curious!

I definitely like this image a lot. You've made something that is highly unusual in a good way.

I love the separation of the foreground from the background around the top of the main subject. It really makes that area more shocking.

fantastic bombastic fresh piece

Beautiful and violent, cold and hot, partly static and stoic while at the same time wild and literally explosive: What a breathtaking juxtaposition of contrasting ideas and imagery.

Totally love it!

And as concerns story... well if that is not a painting which makes you come up with your own story to it, then no painting probably ever will.

Very nice! I love the fire, wish I could do that.
I have one issue in the fact that her hands are interlocking - but not interlocked. She dosent look like she is holding the umbrella, maybe one hand below the other would have worked better. I hate to crit such nice work... sorry.
"um... yes, well at least I think, yes?"

This happened to me just the other day. I was so annoyed. Had to buy a new umbrella.

(for real tho, thats some hot shnitzle well done)

Whoa...the fire effect is unreal. Wow, this is very well done. I'm speechless...
Do or do not. There is no try.
