Great work! I love the eyes. I must say, of all your work this one is my favorite! Great colors and mood...very nice attention to detail. Overall, a very nice piece. 5/stars

Hi Benita! I've been watching the progress of this on your website. The finished result is awsome, fantastic work, great character design! I love the lighting and textures

Nice work, benita! Major improvement in ur work since the Master and Servant! I really like the compo in this image, just need to juice it up a bit, really punch those highlight on that woman creature elf thingy. Peace out!

thank you for your feedback - it's very much appreciated! <3

right now i'm fighting my way through the whole anatomy matter..
which is still quite a lot of work.. though i have found a very good
anatomy-teacher here in berlin.. as soon as there is something to show,
i will keep you updated

bao: i'm glad you like it, thank you!
to get some variation, i have used some custom-brushes from my library..
one of my favourite brushes is actually made of indian papadam bread..
(i used it to get the gold-sparcles on the velvet cap of "jadefox")
other details were painted on separate documents and then copied into
the real image..
i was lazy, so i only painted one leaf and one bunch of
bluerain berries

and here is the cloned leaf in action:

Very cool; the palette, mood and theme reminds me Linda Bergqvist's work. What bothers me though is the difference of treatment in the rendering, some parts rendered with very soft edges while others with hard edges.

Nice, nice piece. She's sexy yet scary, but beautiful. Theres great emotion and a mystical presence. I sense water near by. You did a great job. 5 stars
