Qin - Mai Lin-chi, Aleksi Briclot (2D)

Title: Qin - Mai Lin-chi
Name: Aleksi Briclot
Country: France
Software: Photoshop

One of the seven archetypal templates I've done for a role playing game book called QIN and published by "Le 7čme cercle".
It's about Chinese antique world.
I've used Photoshop, traditional samples and I have a lot of fun with this wonderful freeware called Artrage

Wow, what beautiful texture! I've always wanted to try combining real and digital media. Lovely work on her face and hair. There's a great sense of movement created by the direction of her hair, and the heavier brushstrokes, but the colour scheme and her expression give the piece an overall air of calm. Wonderful pallette too... great work!
