The Octocrown, Brian Despain (2D)

Title: The Octocrown
Name: Brian Despain
Country: United States
Software: Painter

For this piece I wanted to see if I could create a visual non-sequitur. In short I brought together disperate elements yet tried to make them work as a visual whole. The meaning of the piece would thus become completely dependant on how the viewer was able to connect the elements together creating a myriad of stories completely unique for each and every viewer.
We really shook the pillars of Heaven didn't we Wang?

o my god!! such amazing lighting and color... i'm speechless... .....................mmmmmm......... okay i'm with-speech again.... man i really like ur brush stroks and i like the way u proceeded this painting. The way u have painted this makes it look like a oil-painting and giving that flat look.,.. but when u look at it u seem to get devoured in its depthness... simply amazing... keep it up man...5stars from me
