Valley of the Vampire Vixens, Michael Dashow (2D)

Title: Valley of the Vampire Vixens
Name: Michael Dashow
Country: USA
Software: Photoshop

This was my entry for the CGSociety B-Movie Challenge. It was created in a combination of paper/pencils and Photoshop, pretty much only using one rough-edged oil brush that I like. It took abotu 2 months of sporadic work.

Here was the write-up that accompanied the entry:
"In a land forgotten by time, dinosaurs still roam! Herbivorous sauropods forage for plants, vicious theropods hunt them down... and at the top of the food chain, savage Amazonian vampires feast on them all! When a small plane carrying explorers and scientists crashes in the heretofore undiscovered valley, the men aboard must defend themselves against killer raptor lizards and terrifying pterosaurs. Eventually they will come face to face with the beautiful and barbarous Vampire Vixens! "

Wow that is great! I love the amazons of course, but I really love how the dinos themselves are in the older style of the era.

EXCELLENT work! Good job at capturing the antique visual zeitgeist.

Hi Michael,
Excellent work as usual. I agree with the others: the dino look like they where drawn on those days cannon. The amazons are absolutely sexy. Congratulations and good luck in the challenge! Unfortunately I couldn't enter this time but I will be here for the next one.
