This is very well done, but I am wondering why those ancient riders are riding around a modern-day pyramid. If the scene is supposed to depict a historical scene some thousands of years ago, the pyramids would actually have been covered in smooth marble from top to bottom. The marble was later ransacked for other uses. What's left in your illo is the view of the modern weathered pyramid, far from its original glory.

I think they were covered in limestone, not marble. Also, I think the tip might have been gold or electrum (or so I've read...)

All in all it's a very nice image though.

I was thinking the same thing. Still a great piece though huh! I love it!!
