Pirates of the Seven Seas, Arnaud SIMON-LAFOREST (2D)

Title: Pirates of the Seven Seas
Country: France
Software: Photoshop

A pack illustration for the game "Pirates of the Seven Seas" from GAMELOFT.
Line: Pencils
Colors: Photoshop
After a quick rough, I drew each element separatly, scanned them and recomposed the image before coloring it.
It was quite fun ^^'
This illustration is getting old (2007) but I still like it even if the line is too noticeable and the lightening could be better.
All critiques and comments are welcome :)

cool composition. nice layout and color choices, and the drawing styles works well with it. you captured the action and emotion of the scene and characters very well.
