Looks like Santa and his deer got the wrong house and caught this cowboy by surprise. It's a Christmas card.

Ha, ha, ha... very nice work Nate, so funny! Another image! You work really fast!

The cowboy is great, I love his expression and his pose, really well done. I like the reindeers (each of them with a different expression), and how the door breaks too.

Very funny.

Thanks you guys for such nice commentary on my goofy art.
(I actually do the serious stuff too... but hey, this is the fun stuff!)

Gee whiz, Claudia... thanks.

You should post your card... or is it in your portfolio?...

I should clarify... this wasn't my personal card. I've done greeting card art for this publisher since 1980... this one was a few years ago - - not sure if it's still in their line or not. They sometimes make the non-holiday art (ie: get well, birthday, friendship) into mugs, note pads, etc.

.....

Thanks...
I should explain that I'm pulling these from the archives of work I've done for the greeting card company and other publishers... some dating back to 1980. Fact is I'm too busy now on projects to crank out new art for the forum... but I will post some more recent stuff as I can.

Thanks again for the warm response, everyone!!

Ok, thanks for the explanation Nate. I love those works, it doesn't matter if you did some years ago.

It will be great to see new stuff from you!
