Naginata, Kerem Beyit (2D)

Title: Naginata
Name: Kerem Beyit
Country: Turkey
Software: Photoshop

This is the artwork that I've made for BudK Catalog. They're making swords and all kinds of martial art weapons I guess... So that's a naginata my guy's holding. They wanted a calmed Autumn atmosphere which I very much liked, and I guess I'm getting better with painting snowy mountains:)

I hope you like this one.

Photoshop CS2, UC-Logic PF1209-Pro Tablet

Looks awesome man. Love that wolf and his armor is wicked! It feels more like winter than autumn though. It is probably the abundance of cool colors that make it feel like winter. To me autumn is full of warm shades of red and yellow and orange. This is a minor detail, however. Everything else is amazing!

I like the armour, the mountains, and the atmosphere. But I have to say, even though it's stylized, the wolf's anatomy is off. The leg is bending at the wrong place, making the leg look a bit distorted or broken. Here is a picture I found of a wolf dog that might be helpful for future reference: http://www.dkimages.com/discover/pr.../805/889858.JPG

Overall, good picture, you are very talented with armour and metals

Very cool image, Kerem. The only thing I would change would be to put a bit more ephasis on that sword. Congrats.

Everything looks awesome, each time Kerem posts a new work, he also puts a smile on my face, cause i love looking at his works.. great details...

Tekrardan tebrikler, yann?z çoook ufac?k bir tavsiyem olacak Kerem, resmin genelindeki keskinlik (so?uk hava) ve adam?n kostümü yüzündeki maske falan hep böle sert ifadelerde... ancak kurtun yüzünde bir tebessüm sezmekteyim .. yani onda o vah?ili?i göremiyorum bilmiyorum böylemi istendi senden yada böyle ho?unam? gitti ama, çok pasik kalm?? kurtçuk orda.. muhte?em bir resimi bizle payla?t???n için tekrardan te?ekkürler, ba?ar?lar?n devam?n? diliyorum.
