Preproduction for two shows? Really? Which ones? How do you find it? You're doing the concept design, right? What sort of work do you find yourself getting?

Sorry for all the questions! I really enjoy this style of art, it reminds me of the books I read as a child and as such is always close to my heart.

Such beautiful work Kei !!

I can't understand, why you have been so shy, this

is lovely work !! I love your use of color and the characters are

so cute. This is the kind of illustration you want to see in children's books.

Looking forward to seeing more of your work

Very nice. There's personality, friendship, and some sort of shared moment happening where both parties are reacting the same way to what they are seeing (which just feels back into how close of friends they must be). On top of that there is a sense of the innocent wonder of a child. It's one of those moments you kind of wish you were in on.

It's not hard to see whay this would be a popular print.

Hey there, so lovely.. cute!

Really missed our Bobby Chiu Kuala Lumpur sketch weekly session we used to have.. been inactive for a long time due to everyone busy with their own work schedule, but the spirit is still there.. still spending our own time doin' the caricature!

Haven't post replies in this forum for very long time, but do checkout the frontpage work almost everyday.. just came across this thread and I like, wow!

Excellent work! I really like that owl

crit: seeing how shinny and luminous the eyes of the owl are cause me to start looking for similar qualities in the eyes and wings of the fairy (which seem slightly dull in their luminescence and refractive qualities). That’s all.

5-stars!

i agree with everyone here, this is one of the cutest things i've ever seen. i'm buying the book based on this picture alone.
i'm gonna try to model her in 3d, too, just for fun. she's absolutely irresistable!

thanks for sharing this!

Absolutely stunning! I love the curiosity in the little fairys eyes.

The owls pose seemed a little forced at fist but the more I look at it the more I like it
