Dark Walk, Dennis Cook (2D)

Title: Dark Walk
Name: Dennis Cook
Country: USA
Software: Photoshop

I painted this in Photoshop7, took about 3 hours.
I started out with a single image floating in air,was not happy!I added a background to give life to the character and add depth to the scene.Comments are always welcome. Thanks

No Coments? or CRITS?

Could this image be so perfect... that there are no words needed .
Or Is it really that bad

Or could it be that your creatures are so bizarre no one could realate to it?
Just tuggin your chain Denis. BTW just on a personal artist to atist note. Do you do a light and comp study before you start applying paint?

With this character, no...I originally painted the image by itself and noticed that it looked too flat so I added the scene in the back and foreground. So it was not really planned out.

AH! I've done that plenty of times, you make a nice foreground figure and then go "hey it needs more!"
