I don't really understand why this would be less impressive cause it's 2D instead of 3D, but maybe that's because I'm a 2D artist myself and don't know to much of 3D

The arm and shoulder seem awkward to me....did you use any reference? Good character concept however, and I love the design of her clothes; and the urban type setting. Good work over all!
