The Rise Of Oblivion II, Dimitri Patelis (2D)

Title: The Rise Of Oblivion II
Name: Dimitri Patelis
Country: Canada
Software: Painter, Photo-Paint

Due to the comments on the first version of this illustration regarding what looked like wings but not intentionally, (Explanation in the first post) I did add wings to this version so I can satisfy the viewers and my curiosity of how the character would look. I think the result is quite pleasing.
This image is a character design, which I created for my new book. It is also my first trial on using Painter in conjunction with Photo Paint, which is the main software I have been using. I also submitted the original version for the EXPOSE book. It took approximately 9 hours to create.
I have been a professional illustrator and fantasy painter for about fourteen years using traditional media. In the past few years I started incorporating digital illustrations in my portfolio.
Feel free to comment and give my work a rating.
Best Regards,
Dimitri Patelis

Wow, I love the fire effects and texturing on the demon warrior. His muscles look very firm and his defiant stance backs up his attitude. The silvery texture on him appears to go well with the flames. Nice job!
