Light Bringer, Damien Serban (2D)

Title: Light Bringer
Name: Damien Serban
Country: France
Software: Photoshop

I wasn't sure if I should post this image... Since I'm really not a "2D Digital Painter"... But since I am really looking forward to improving my 2D skills, I am very interested in your opinions/critics.

So this is a sketch I fully colorized in Photoshop. I posted it in the WIP, and got help from Nathaniel West to improve it. I didn't have the courage to go further although I can feel it really isn't totally finished... I guess I don't have as much patience in 2D than I have in 3D.

I know it is anatomically incorect, but that wasn't the point of the sketch, nor of the coloring...

Ok, enough boring description, you're turn to flame me, and criticize my work ! Don't be gentle, I can handle it !

just quite good ! the point i want to say is the composition and the seperation of image, isnt it a little *stable* for eyes to search something attentif , but if theres an other image beside(a cote), i suppose, will be more complete?

en suit i wanna to see ur 3d work

Hey thanks. You probably mean "unstable", not stable... And you're probably right, as this was mainly an experiment, I didn't think too much about the background or about the composition... Although I like that he's offcentered to the right, gives the impression that he's going somewhere.

If you want to see my 3D work, you can click on the link on my signature saying Chrysalide 3D Animation - Finished Animation Forum
(or on this link I just made).
