Hau Steemin: Speed Demon, Kathryn D. (2D)

Title: Hau Steemin: Speed Demon
Name: Kathryn D.
Country: Canada
Software: Photoshop

"Hau Steemin: Speed Demon". This is just a test in simple character creation and posing, and runs current with a little obsession I've had with lengthening body parts (first it was torsos... now legs). I'd particularly like to know what you think of the general composition - the layout and the background. That's where I find I generally have the most trouble.
Thanks!

it looks realy cool man, the only advice i would give is to move one arm in front of him to make the running illusion more believable. when we run our arms counter our legs, in a criss cross manner. sorry if thats not the advice your looking for, other wise it looks great

Thanks :D

Thanks a lot - I'm glad you like it.
Yep, I definetly know that *nod* Dabbling in animation will teach you that lol. I kept them both in back on purpose actually - I guess I wanted to highlight his legs over his arms a bit more.
Thanks anyways tho!

The way you do what you are saying is to kinda throw a upper cut with he right arm, almost like he's doing a bicept pose in profile. Do this drawing in a sillouette (sp?) and you can fix it easy.
