End Of Summer, Hawken Bright-roberts (2D)

Title: End Of Summer
Name: Hawken Bright-roberts
Country: United Kingdom
Software: Illustrator

Recently I've been making a lot of works like this, using patterns that follow the folds of the fabric. It does take rather a long time to do, the effect is rather nice... but I was tempted to give up.
Any comments are welcome.

I love your use of colors, and the pattern technique you've used turned out really well. I also like the soda you've placed in her hand, gives it a modern flavor. Great job!

wow...love seeing Illustrator work. Was it 100% illustrator, even the pattern on the clothes? Great job

Great! Using only Illustrator? Wow!

Anyway, the Asian's style looks really nice to me! Great work!

Hiya

Yes this was done entirely in Illustrator.

I know it's not the usual sort of flavour that CGTalk is used to and was slightly apprehensive about posting TBH.

It's part of a series of images I'm doing that are themed around Japanese designs & patterns, trying to make a modern take on Hanga and Ukiyo-E. "neo hanga" is the official made-up name
