Pakistan Flower, Angel (2D)

Title: Pakistan Flower
Name: Angel
Country: Greece
Software: Painter

A try to paint the portrait of my friend's wife from Pakistan, using Painter 8...The difficult point was to paint the traditional jewels and clothes of Pakistan (finally i didnt draw jewel details...i prefered to paint simply, adding values to warm colours)

Hope you like it

Its very good work, and the way you used the warm tones to create a sense of depth is quite skilled. However, in the use of many warm colors and tones, you seemed to have lost some contrast that may sharpen the piece. Also, I have no knowledge of pakistani clothing, but i feel as if the material would have a satiny feel from the picture, but it has no sheen or wrinkles. If it is a cotton material, youve done well with it but perhaps add a bit more texture?

Good work, I look forward to seeing more of it.

I like the picture concept but the brightness is dampening, like a grayish glaze, over the overall impact of the image. You should try to bring out more of the pakistans womans facial and fabric warmer colors more so, to make it pop up more.

nice gaze

This is a nicely done portrait. The drawing is good, the mood of the model is very convincing.

The composition of the colour is good, but does need come accents - some sparkle.
