Basic Poser render with tons of postwork in photoshop. All textures are hand painted and image was coloured in Photoshop

This image has been used on the cd artwork for an up and coming emo band called 'After'. Cd is released in November.

have seen the piccie before, but always love the stone work on all of your stuff, especially
the stuff going on at the bottom of the pic.

Although i and many others knew you used a poser reference before even i read it (yeah, i'm in the "3d artists against evil Poser" club), your post work in Photoshop is very interesting. So great work!

I didn't realise the use of Poser was so frowned upon in 2D work and didn't realise that I would be judged by the fact I used it.

I'm glad you noticed the fact that this image is about 10 mins Poser work and hours of painting and postproduction in photoshop.

If I used a photo-reference would it be any different?

My work is about concepts and ideas not about Poser

Smile Down Moment

Great use of colour. The foregound and backgound are unified by the surface effects.Also, good line quality to the drawing.
