Rocketcats, Www.sosfactory.net (2D)

Title: Rocketcats
Name: Www.sosfactory.net
Country: Espana
Software: Photoshop

This one is a illustration I did for comission from my website www.sosfactory.net for a uncoming project.

I did a skecht and scanned it. Then I usually make some modifications to get it looks good after that I make all the paths with photoshop. When the digital ink is done I use my wacom tablet to color it.

Every kind of critic or comments are welcome.

I think the cat would have even more personality if you could see his eyes through his goggles. Look at mirrored streetbike (motorcycle) helmet visor. They mirror so you can't see 100% of the person behind the visor, but you can still see outlines and highlights. You could make it a bit more obvious than that for the illustration though. The space and planets look great, as does the cat himself.

Nicely done...
Is the background from scratch as well?
