Dwarven Smith, Mike Nerone (2D)

Title: Dwarven Smith
Name: Mike Nerone
Country: USA
Software: Photoshop

This is the most recent thing that I've been working on. The original (which I don't have enough webspace to publish) was 6400x5700. Still learning.... Crits very welcomed.

The Dwarfsmith looks pretty good, I like his hair and i like the fact that you tried to get accurate lights and shadows. However there is some light on the smith's body that isn't supposed to be there i guess

My main critique is, that some objects on the picture look like they where glued onto the background. The reason for this might be: (example: fireplace) bright lines around the object (maybe darken the lines on the ground and add some dust and dirt?) or: wrong geometry. The whole building looks a bit odd to me.

(colorado is great btw, been to co springs 2 years ago)

Thanks for the comments

I do have to admit that I started to rush a bit towards the end, and the final elements didn't have as much attention as they should have. ... Oh well, I'll know better next time.
