Rage - The Darkest Emotion, Vinesh V George (2D)

Title: Rage - The Darkest Emotion
Name: Vinesh V George
Country: India
Software: Photoshop

there have been many a times that I have been consumed by Rage, one of the most regrettable of human emotions.

This is the first of a set of artwork depicting human emotions.
The baby represents our infantile rage, which doesn't bother or want to understand anything, is unaware of everything but for the fact that it wants to strike out at the one that makes it come forth from its slumber.

This is completely done in photoshop using an image of mine and a free stock photo<i dont know whose it is>
love,
Omen

Great stuff!
Exactly how much of this is a photo and how much is hand painted?
Photo sourced or not, its a really powerful piece - expresses the emotion really well, and the screaming baby with rusty knives is really scary!

Good job

ANDY, thanks for the comments. The image is composed mainly of 2 photo's ; one selftaken of mine..(i am not bald by the way) and the second a stock pic of a baby. Both have been maniplated a lot to come out this way.. the bald head and veins, teeth etc are drawn in using PS.
Though not digital painting, I think the peice does justice to the emotion it is meant to convey.

This is the most powerful image I've seen in a LONG time. I especially like the textures you have given it. The illo has a nice lost and found quality to it. No crits from me.

Great piece omen, i love the colour and textures. u have captured the rage in both the baby and the guy. You might work on the knives a bit. They look like a cut and paste rather than making it look like the baby's actually holding them. All in all a great job, want to see more of your stuff.
By the way this would have made a great master and servant.
