Armadillo 9, Francis Tsai (2D)

Title: Armadillo 9
Name: Francis Tsai
Country: United States
Software: Traditional Materials

This is a sketch from my sketchbook of a sort of cybernetic/cyborg female character (since that is almost never done these days...). Not too much story behind it, other than trying to practice drawing female figures. The extra "cyber" bits can camouflage a lot of errors haha!

Very nice and...

i always find it amazing that with a touch of highlights (the white "chalk" it seems that u used) makes your character 3d and pop out. I dont mean to sound like a perv, but the added touch of highlights on ur bust area make them look bigger nd well rounded whereas if you didnt add the highlight they would come off flatt...not that there's anything wrong with that

also very nice use of the sketch book paper as a medium tone i love to use medium tones rather than the traditional white

keep it up hope to see more

Thanks everyone! I wanted to see how people reacted to a very non-digital piece. Sorry for the cheeseball subject matter though...
