Hey Jarah.. didn't know you're a member here too
Anyway.. the drawing is graet. I love the color scheme and the glows. The tatoo is amazing, I'd have given it another color though, so that it doesn't look like blood (!)

keep it up

Thnx Man .... well i've choosen the red because in arabic they make the Tatoo in a dye caleed ( Henna ) which gives the red color over the skin .... i was going to make it cyan ... but i thought red will be good ...

Thnx again

Coolness. Sorry I don't have any suggestions - she looks very alive to me and ready to seduce anyone around.

I know it's Henna and not a tatoo, but still, Henna is more brown than red.
Anyway, still an awsome piece

I wanna see more...:)

Congrats to you on this piece !

If you are looking for some suggestions I think the composition is a bit tight.

I think maybe you could try to show more of her say down to the belt line, and give some more space on the sides of the picture.

Love the calligraphy in the background, wish I knew how to read it.

And yeah I aslo think henna is more of a brownish blackish tone.

Looking forward to seeing more from this comic.

Hey Addiso

The calligraphy in the back is part of a story from Arabian nights but in the Arabic version ... part of it Shehrezad starting the story with ( it's said you Happy wise king that ...ect )

this is part of the translation

I'll try to post new stuff like theis piece ... i'm making some

Thnx for your comment

Her skin is a little too light for a Sultan's harem. Looks a little to west and not enough middle east. Awsome drawing though!

Hi Jarah

I like this drawing very much Great colours, the face is especially well done. I would (but that's pure personal taste) try to make the hair a bit darker: a small highlight area and near black around it.

Now, I have had a look at the other picture from your deviant art page and noticed some things there (I hope it is appropriate to mention that here). The face to me seems suggestive of an elderly lady rather than the youthful beauty you portrayed here (though everything around the face is actually very good). I remember how elusive faces are from when I tried to model one the first time in 3d. I hope I can help you with some comments here:

- generally, I would try to avoid creases in youthful faces. In a style which relies on suggesting only the essential features something like that pops out extremely.
- head and face are rather high and narrow, and this verticality is further stressed by the vertical wrinkles and the narrow features (both nose and mouth)
- the lightning too stresses that narrowness with the heavy shadow on the left
- the narrow, asymmetric mouth somehow suggests a rather aged lady to me, dunno exactly why

Here I have tried to show what i mean by painting over the old one. (I hope you don't take offence by me fiddling in your work ). Actually I'm not a pro so I tell me if I'm talking stupid!

Keep it up!

hey guys

Thnx DannyDreams ... well i wanted this girl to be a littel white ... not typically middle east girl ... but thnx for the suggestion

Stratobrain : thnx pal .... well i noticed the face is not that good after i colorized it ... to be honest i get stuck with the space of the page because i mainly focused on the body so the face didn't came as pretty as the first one ... i know it's not an excuse but that what happened .... thnx also for the suggestions & the changes ... i got u r point & i'll ry to avoid it in my next artwork ... i'm happy to learn from others no offence at all ... I'm not a Pro either so this picture here to sharpen my skill more by other people's opinions ... thnx

thnx Mysterious X
