Aw, this is too small. I feel like the its too condensed and that I can't see most of the details. I do notice the ruins, but it kind of feels insignificant against this background. I kind of miss your explosion of colors and varying brush strokes and expressive painting style. This feels so much subdued by comparison. Although its layout and scenic background formation is well done, and I do get a sense of depth in your piece (I know how, but I can never really seem to render such landscape depths convincingly; ah well). Its nice to see your work again, though. I've been working on a lot of traditional artwork, so my digital portfolio is currently on hold right now, but I do like to attend this forum to see other people's work (and I do tend to enjoy whatever you bring out). I look forward to seeing your next piece. Keep it up. Nice job.

Yes this work is somewhat done with a limited palette as per the theme.
Good to know that you are concentrating on your traditional work these days, that for sure is a great foundation for all art. All the best with that.
