Very interesting concept. I do like the stacking layers of roof tops you have leading up to the tower (very tricky to do properly when using so little detail to render shape, form and space). Some of the people in the foreground look kind of like women in burkas, so it gives the feeling of a middle eastern city (not sure if that was the intention). I think you could've added a few more smoke columns to help emphasize a sense of busy-ness. I do like the shape and design of the tower (glad you made it thick instead of a tall, thinner tower; it makes it more impressive). The dome and side scaffolding-like structures are really cool on the tower (the side things feel like space shuttle launch scaffolding; its kind of cool). Overall, this is a very impressive piece, so keep hold of it for your portfolio. Keep it up. Great job.
