Cool

Wow, this is very impressive. I'd hate to be strapped into that armor (it looks incrediably heavy and cumbersome, but still a pretty cool design). The sillouette looks awesome, and the armor has many components and textures and is fairly well balanced, although I will say that the area around the shoulders is a bit too bulky (so it doesn't look too convincing that he can move or raise his arms). When I first saw the fur line around the collar, I though it was fur or hair on his neck (like he was part werewolf or something). It lays against his neck a little to flat (bring some of the texture of the fur over the edge of the armor next time).

I like the reddish brown color of the leathery under-armor (and it works well with the dark greys of the metals). That sword is awesome, by the way. I love the shape of the blade (the curves don't look too wacky or out-of-balance, so good job there), and I love the red floating orb in the hilt. It pops out and adds life (and it looks pretty kick ass). Obviously, there are a lot of talking points to this piece, and I had fun critiquing it. I love concept art. Keep this one handy in your portfolio. Keep it up. Great job.
