the skin render,first i test the render in maya mentalray,use the default fastskinsss shader setting,then i set the lighting and tweak my texures,after that i split the shader into Diffuse Ambient Color Reflect Specular SSS layers,then composited them in Fusion,because this character really took too long time on rendering,and i used the 32 float fomat when saving these layer images,i think it will help a lot at reflecting and specular parts of the character,i learned it from my friend(yuansheng),in this process i can tweak a lot of all the layers until i get this result

Beautiful work, nice modeling and texture, really brings back the childhood memories! I am so looking forward to see you model the rest of the story characters! Definitely the monkey King and the mook!
