this is my last render image - Minotaur. This image was made only for fun and practiced. Modeled and rendered in 3dsmax2009 and zbrush, photoshop cs4 for texture and postpro.

cool concept. the only thing that jumps out at me is the weapon. the character and environment are beautify stylized and play with ones sense of imagination. the weapon looks great in terms of modeling and texturing, but it brings me back to reality. it looks very much like its real world counterpart ak-47 (or variant) and contrasts a little with the styling of the rest of the piece.
awesome work, nonetheless. =D

Great original concept! I love the modern spin on the myth with some added ancient references. My only concern is the choice of weapon, I would probably place the minotaur in the WWII or even earlier time frame but the rifle seems like something from the future - I don't know much about these things though... Also I would've preferred some powerful intimidating close range weapon to be truer to the myth, I just can't picture a massive minotaur picking off enemies through a scope.
I really like the helmet for some reason, great touch
