bucking fish, heath hewett (3D)

Title: bucking fish
Name: heath hewett
Country: USA
Software: BodyPaint, CINEMA 4D, Photoshop, VRay, ZBrush

This work is based off of a sculpture given to me by a friend which I've had on my bookshelf for years, however, I wanted this version to be more dynamic. It is a nautical take on the farmer leading the donkey with a carrot. All Lo-res modeling in C4d, hi-res sculpts in zbrush. Textures in photoshop and bodypaint. Post-work in photoshop.

Nice model and textures. The big fish appears like a stone, is that intentionally done?

thx free3dart. not so much stone, my intent was a tarnished silvery metal with old turquoise enamel. not a realistic fish, but heavy and sculptural, with surreal tone; this is meant to oppose its mid air flight, hopefully bringing contrast to the composition.

Looks fun, the water could do with some work, but otherwise its good stuff.
