SuperBike08 team PSG-1 Kawasaki, Massimiliano Bottega (3D)

Title: SuperBike08 team PSG-1 Kawasaki
Name: Massimiliano Bottega
Country: Italy
Software: Modo, Photoshop

I modeled this bike while I was working on game assets for the Superbike08 videogame.
I've been working with real-time models of bike for many years now, so i decided to spend some time on a full-detailed model, mainly because I was sick tired of poligon limits and small textures...

I guess you're right...I could have a camera moving around....the only thing that scars me are rendering times! The reason y should make and animation is that all the parts are full detailed, and just a single screenshot can't show them! Let's just hope my pc is not getting fried!
I am adding a couple more screens....

B-Max, nicely done. What did you use to create the carbon fiber material?

Super work! Lovely modeling, lighting and shading. Can I ask how you got that bloom effect on the back end of the fuel tank?

carbon fibers....

To Hitmon:
Carbon Fibers are just a combination of the same bitmap of carbon fiber, used on the diffuse and specular, but not on the reflection, so all gets the same reflection and there you get the "clear coat" shade.. i hope it was clera enough, i mean, the explanation ^_^

Very nice model with outstanding details, nice studio lighting and rendering! and yah its fun to work on your own project and without worry about poly count and texture size.
