Chain Guy, Bernardo Arroyo (3D)

Title: Chain Guy
Name: Bernardo Arroyo
Country: Mexico
Software: 3ds max, Digital Fusion, Mudbox, Photoshop, VRay

This is a character I made as an r&d test, and to make something cool, the concept is from my boss at the studio I am working for. It was great fun to make it and I learned a lot with this, specially on the modelling and texturing with mudbox, the painting capabilities are awesome and it streamlines the creation process, it feels like painting a really cool porcelain sculpture haha.
I used mudbox, 3dmax, vray, photoshop and fusion to produce this image.
I hope you like it! good luck, and happy modeling to all!

To mee it breathes Doom. I don't know.. it just reminds me of one the final bosses there.. if you remember.

The blooom is a bit on the heaby side for my tast since I think it takes away some of the details. Apart from that it looks good. I guess you can't get tired of murderous sci-fi cyborgs hehe

Actually, to me it's straight out of Quake 2 \ 4. Definately a Strogg. I'd love to see that film come to life for sure, without Hollywood destroying it.

To me its just amazing work... I even find it hard to believe its 3D rendering... I never got a hand on that stuff, well didn't try as hard as I should too...
