Stunning work !

Some very cool works recently on vegetation and design houses with mentalray:
http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthr...?f=132&t=737188

I think both are breathtaking.

ciao, max

Man, that's astonishing. I sure hope you or we do a tutorial on this. I'm in awe of this one, and the vegetation is lush, exuberant, and the best I've ever seen. Do you have a WIP somewhere Alessandro? Or can you explain more about your lighting scheme and shaders? I love that your viewport says 332 million faces!!! hahaha miraculous you got this to render.

That is absolutely incredible work. These renders really look just like photos.

Simply the most impressive renders I've ever seen.
I'm also curious about your system configuration.

Wow... idk what to say. Well I can agree with others in that this is the most realistic render I've ever seen. I would also like to know your system specs/render times.

Thumbs up

This is truely magnificent! The only thing that gave it away to me was the bark on the trees being a flat texture, but the vegitation.... wow! I would also really love to know your system specs. One pass to render 900mil poly, that must have taken forever.
