The Albatross, Sherrie Law (3D)

Title: The Albatross
Name: Sherrie Law
Country: Canada
Software: Maya, Photoshop, XSI, ZBrush

I am a recent graduate of the VFS 3D Animation and Visual Effects program (2009), and this is a still from my reel. The environment, vehicle, and character (not shown here) are entirely my own concepts relating to the steampunk genre. All visual elements are done by me. I named the flying bike 'The Albatross' because I find it a fitting name for that era.

Textures are top notch! Great work. Thanks for using displacement on the bricks. LOL I see way too many brick/stone walls with flat textures...

You definitely have problem with textures, they look flat, displacement or bump, try to fix that.
Cheers

Hello Sherrie,

Beautiful work. I took a look rest of the images on your portfolio. I think they are stills from your reel. You executed very well what you've learned from school - rest is all about time and experience.

keep up the great work!

Vlada: thanks for the critique I will keep practicing.

Kerem: Thanks Kerem. Yes you are correct, they are stills from my reel. Actually I posted my reel too, you can find it at this post:
