I'm not keen on the Frank Miller reference picture(ol'Batty seems to be trying to squeeze into a box) but as a translation that is just herculean work. I have no critisims but a suggestion - give it a scene to make use of the lighting. This work is something to feel mighty proud of and it seems a shame to not showcase Batman in the fashion he deserves. Seriously, go the full length and it will pay off.

I'm glad someone posted the original image so people that don't know Frank Miller's work can see just how perfectly you nailed this. Best 3d Batman I've ever seen and an incredible piece!

This is nice!

I like how you used soft lighting and the way you did those wrinkles...

Good to see a different take on Batman too (I know you got it from Frank Miller, but still nice to see)

He looks a bit disturbed, but I guess that helps with the Crime Fighting "persona"

Super sick piece man great work. as far as C&C'S all I can say from a nitpicking eye Is from first look I wonder what kind of material is he wearing? is it spandex like the good ole days or something else.

Then I sit back wishing I could do that.

5 Stars

Nice work! Love the Dark knight Returns.
Can I ask how much is done in post? That ripped through shoulder looks painted not 3-D. I suppose it doesn't matter how much is done in photoshop, its a nice image any how, I am just curious.
"um... yes, well at least I think, yes?"
