Really great personality! 5*

I think it would look more like Thom Yorke if his eyes were larger, and more almond shaped, and if the top of his skull wasn't so large. His eyes should be more the focus than the top of the skull IMHO.

Youre probably right. This is my first time creating a caricature without a sketch provided by an expert (like the posh spice head i did). I should practice more, as im fascinated by caricaturists and their ability to pick out peoples features and exaggerate them, yet still keep the likeness.
I also agree with some people's comments about the hair. A hair plugin would have been ideal, but it takes time to style correctly, and even longer to get the hair to look like it 'belongs' in the scene. I was going to use transparency maps with the poly hair, but im still a newbie to mental ray, and doing something as simple as applying a transparency map was giving me a headache. As this was a quick project, i didnt want technical issues to dampen my creativity.

Thanks for the frontpage, by the way! This was only a quick test project - i should do these sort of things more often

Looks good!!! The only thing bothering me is how the hair looks solid, no transparency at the tips or anything...if you added that I think it would be boss!!! Nice work.

Edit: Should've probably read the thread first.

I like the hair the way it is. It reminds me a bit of the claymation look from something like Tim Burton's James and the Giant Peach.
