Fallen Knight, Daniel Moos (3D)

Title: Fallen Knight
Name: Daniel Moos
Country: Switzerland
Software: After Effects, CINEMA 4D, Photoshop, Silo

I always wanted to create a medieval knight but didn't want to relie on the white and black knight cliché. So I came up with that.
He might really be a knight partying after a victorious battle or maybe just a bum who stole a dead knight's armor.

Whoever he is, he appreciates a good mug of beer.

I tried to make him look drunk, but i'm not sure if I reached the goal convincingly.

Modeled in silo2. Rendering in c4d. Post in AfterEffects.

Critique is appreciated. So, please don't hold you back!

Cheers
Daniel

cool

Nice!
Original and FUN!

Just a little suggestion. What if there was a bit more of a pool of beer from the barrel.
That could bring more depth to the picture with reflection. I allso think it would create a sens that the knight is even more in to party mode

A few shadows might be good too. The barrelstand is raised from the floor but that is hard to tell because of lack of shadow.

well done / JS

Thumbs up

I really like the subject, shading and lighting you did. I couldn't see this kind of rendering in any other software packages except the Cinema4d.

Thank you very much for your critique, guys! Especially to Smas. I really like the idea with the pool of beer I may implement it later on.

Cheers
