Awesome modeling as always, but she look pretty lifeless to me. Like a plastic toy. I think the high specular and monochrome texture was a bad choice.

Wow Mr. Blanche, you're work continues to inspire and awe me! I love the style and the design of the character. The illustrative quality of the image is very nice too! I love the series...

Are these characters going to be used for anything other than the stillshots? Because I think alot of your characters would be very interesting to see animated!

Looking forward to more great artwork from you!

The colours and the pose really bring the wonderfully made model to life. I love the lighting in this image too. How long have you been using Mudbox in your pipeline?

Very Nice! Reminds me of Brom's Gazell: http://www.bromart.com/gallery/Dark...ges/Gazell1.jpg

thanks to all of you guys

@redbranch: yup, i love this pict and all Brom's art for a long time, he remains one of my big influences
For some reason i had some illustrations from Philippe Caza in mind too
Casa is a french illustrator who worked for Metal Hurlant among many other things...

Very nice piece of artwork, as usual! I like the design of the character and the color-scheme.
After watching the image for half a second, the first thing which came into my head was "pascal blanché" et voilà, I wasn´t wrong

Cheers
André
