Hi there,
Again a little time to practice and have some fun..
I would like to share with all of you a concept from the old books with old magical stories that always amazes me (the Whale and the island on it's back) it is simply interesting to question things like.. are the trees trees or are they a form of growth that helps it camouflage!! The whale is old, it lives for hundreds of years these creatures have always been mistaken to be land, this voyager ship makes a discovery...
I have created the models textures and environment in about 8 to 10 days, I hope to here your comments, please feel free to tell me what you think...
Really hope that you enjoy the work

Excellent. Immediately reminded me of that old Russian animated tale where a whale is carrying an entire city at his back to make up for eating the town's fishermen...

Thumbs up

Nice story. The old tales that seem to crop up in every culture still have appeal even in the newest forms I think the angle could be a little more dynamic or maybe the path of the boat and pod of whales could be less uniform. Great scene and idea overall

Sorry havent read through any of the comments if anything Ive said was mentioned :P.

ENLIGHTMENT!(incert thirty exclamation marks here)!
My Humble Homepage.

I am so good at critiquing other people's work that if I actually critiqued myself like that, I'd be a halfway decent artist.

would love to see a close up of the ship.. even if is not very detailed but looks awsome to me.

the only critic I have is about the ocean waves size...doesnt match with the ship and whale, should be much smaller "me thinks"

also! a rainbow on the water geisher would be the final tuch up, think about this one.

but GREAT pic... good fantasy feeling
