"blind Hunter", Erik Ferguson (3D)

Title: "blind Hunter"
Name: Erik Ferguson
Country: Norway
Software: LightWave 3D, Photoshop, ZBrush

I was watching tv the other day and saw a profil shot of a mouth in a fat persons face. The wrinkles and folds made it look as if the mouth was coming out of folds of skin, almost like a turtle. That was my inspirtion for this illustration. Basemesh moddeled in Lightwave and details and rendering in zbrush. All compositing in Photoshop.

it seems inevitable....

Wow. I love the model and texture of this creature. Like a squid and lantern fish in one. Makes me not want to swim again. Great work.
